DESCRIPTION: Illinois Watch Co., Springfield, Illinois, "Bunn" type 1, 60 hour pocket watch, 16 size, 19 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted, damascened nickel plate movement with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, double roller, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator in a yellow gold filled, screw back and bezel, engraved open face case, Arabic numeral, outer red 5-minute markers, double sunk white enamel dial, plum colored steel spade and whip hands, serial #4598535, c1925.
CONDITION: CASE: Case has housed another movement; Minor dings and pin pricks; Minor scratches on outer surface of case; Engraving with moderate wear; Gold filled with minor brassing; Back with two small etched spots; Plastic crystal; Bow pivot worn, pendant worn; Crown worn. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light. HANDS: Oxide, tip of minute. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Fine scratches on winding wheels; Steel with a few specks of oxide.
